If cooking is not keeping me busy, I’m working on several hobby projects:

  • My Hetzner server instance: it’s current purpose is a static website host, and a custom DDNS server, and an all around playground for Bash/Python/Ansible scripts.
  • My AWS account - I experiment with their latest offerings, primarily using the AWS Terraform provider.
  • My GCP account - Similar to my AWS activities, I also explore Google Cloud Platform’s new features and services.
  • This website, obviously - This site is built using Hugo, a static site generator, plus a customized version of the Papermod theme.
  • Customizing my router’s ROM - to support my custom dynamic DNS host for my home network; to run OpenVPN server on it, so my network and local NFS/SFTP services are accessible from my travels. It’s a cool powerful little ARM computer disguised as a router, with the help of a USB cooler offers numerous possibilities beyond its current use.
